  • PEACE AND JUSTICE
    The Self-Help Interfaith Program (SHIP/shipinoc.com) is an ecumenical venture of approximately 15 churches in Orange County. SHIP provides a program to help people transition from homelessness to a stable residence with a job. Holy Spirit will host SHIP from October 15 to October 28. We need your help in providing meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner), non-perishable items, and donations. There will be sign-up sheets on the patio after Mass until October 9.

  • EUCHARISTIC ADORATION
    Adoration for October will be on Tuesday, October 4 after the 9:00am Mass until the 6:30am Mass on Wednesday, October 5.
  • VOCATION DISCERNMENT
    Men and women 18 - 40 years old interested in Religious Life are invited to our Discernment Gatherings on October 9 at 2:00pm.   • ASIAN PACIFIC FESTIVAL
    Join us for the 2-day festival with carnival rides, entertainment, food & drinks, kids' arts & crafts, cultural villages, and hip hop dance competition. October 22-23, 2016, 10am-9pm @ Newport Dunes. Tickets are $5, but FREE for Holy Spirit parishioners.

    Also, join our "Unity Candlelight" closing ceremony for World Peace on Sunday, Oct. 23 @ 7:00pm.
  • LIFE CHAIN
    October is Respect Life Month. The annual National Life Chain will be held on Sunday, October 2, 3:00 – 4:00pm. This hour of peaceful, silent prayer is a public witness to our community that abortion is wrong and that the church is opposed to the killing of unborn children. The Respect Life Committee invites you to line the sidewalks along Euclid and Warner, forming a cross. Prayer signs for participants to hold will be made available.   • Save the date
    OUR PARISH ANNUAL BLESSING of the ANIMALS will be on Saturday, October 1 after the 9:00am Mass. In honor of the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals, we will be having our annual Blessing of the Animals in the grass area near the entrance of the Church.   • ATTENTION ALL PARISHIONERS
    * A friendly reminder to keep all your valuable items at home. We DO NOT have a security patrol, so please be careful about placing your valuable items in the car.
    * Starting September, the Church will be open daily at 5:00am except Sunday when we open at 6:00am. Your safety is our priority so we ask for your understanding and cooperation.
  • SPANISH MASS NEEDS YOUR HELP
    ♦ We are in need of Lectors; call us if you can help.
    ♦ We will be starting a Spanish children's choir that will sing as scheduled at our Mass. Children between the ages of 5 to 13 are encouraged to join.
    ♦ We need your assistance and prayers in helping us increase our Mass attendance. Let us spread the word about our vibrant 6:30pm Spanish celebration every Saturday night.
  • Church Clean-up
    Priests and Staff wish to thank many men and women from various ministry who comes together to clean-up the house of God every Thursday after the 9:00am Mass. If you have time on Thursday and would like to help in this special ministry, please contact Roz Esh at (714) 963-1811.

  • Extraordinary Ministers to the Sick
    Do you have a couple of hours twice a month on Sunday to bring our Lord to those who are homebound?
    During the Jubilee Year of Mercy, “Visit the Sick,” is a corporal work the Church called us to do.
